Why Communications & Public Relations At USK?

USK students in the Communications and Public Relations concentration will develop communication skills from a Christ-centered perspective. In recent years, the influence of the internet and social media on business and public life has led to an increased need for accurate and effective communication. Students in USK’s program learn to craft messages with integrity and inspire dialogue that reflects Christian ethics through the arts of speaking, writing and listening.

A Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Public Relations can lead to a career in almost any field, including business, ministry, law, education, public service, and fundraising. Entry-level roles such as Production Assistants, Communications Coordinators, Public Relations Assistants, and Copywriters all offer strong career paths culminating in management and leadership positions.
