Alfonso Sanchez teaches Writing and Spanish at USK. He is a writer, professor, and business owner from Long Beach, CA. He holds a BA in Early Childhood Education and an MA in English. He has been teaching for over ten years in public and private schools. He is married to his high school sweetheart and they have four children and two dogs. Together they own and operate child development centers in North County. Education reform is one of his active pursuits. Interest Areas for Alfonso are Classic Literature, Rhetoric, and Creative Writing. An avid reader, he is part of several book clubs and writes short stories, poems, and essays in his spare time.
