Mental Health Services and Resources
If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please dial 988 to access the National Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. Help is available.
USK recognizes that your mental well-being contributes to your overall health. If you need counseling care, we offer a variety of services to help you.
ON-CAMPUS COUNSELING
Counseling is available on campus for currently enrolled USK students. During the academic year we are open Monday through Friday. Please email Kh. Christina Reimann at khcreimann@usk.edu or Jeff Ramos at jramos@usk.edu to schedule a counseling appointment.
OFF-CAMPUS REFERRALS
We can also assist with off-campus referrals. USK has established a partnership with licensed clinical psychologists and marriage and family therapists. These mental health professionals can help students achieve wellness in these areas:
Depression
Anxiety
Post Traumatic Stress
Domestic Violence
Adjustment
Physical or Sexual Abuse
Parenting Support
Grief and Loss
Work and Career Issues
General Stress Management
For more information and/or a referral, contact Director of Student Affairs Melanie Veteto at mveteto@usk.edu.
