Originally from Buffalo, NY, Professor Jim Getman served 24 years in the Navy as an enlisted and officer in the submarine and surface warfare services. Before retiring from the Navy, he finished his MBA degree from Regis University in Denver, and holds a Doctorate in Management from the University of Phoenix, with a concentration in Leadership and Organizational Behavior.
