Bari Berman

Bari Berman joined the University of Saint Katherine as Adjunct Professor in January, 2019. Previously, she spent over 20 years in the healthcare industry, including positions as a Senior Consultant in strategic planning, Project Manager in pharmacoeconomics, and Marketing Director for a healthcare-related financial advisory firm. During this time, Bari was a guest lecturer in the Masters of Health Administration Program at Washington University in Saint Louis focusing on the use of demographic data to predict service-line demand.

Most recently, Bari spent 9 years in both direct-to-consumer and business to business roles educating adults regarding a proprietary nutritional program. Prior to working in healthcare, Bari was a research assistant for a Nobel Laureate who studied the economics of the Civil War.

In addition to teaching, Bari serves as the President of the University of Chicago Alumni Club of San Diego and the Co-President of the University of Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business Alumni Club of San Diego. She has held multiple executive positions on local school parent organization boards in San Diego and Chicago.

Bari has both a B.A. in Economics and an MBA with concentrations in marketing and industrial relations from the University of Chicago.

Bari and her husband, Todd, live in Carmel Valley with their three daughters and two dogs.
